Project Description:
Creation of a "Vintage Video Game Night" at The Gig, utilizing 8-bit like graphics, create marketing that represents the style, culture and entertainment of the late 90s/early 2000's of Video Gaming. Below is the One Sheet for the event, all information will be communicated through Jessamyn Harter. Please have Pamela Ouimet involved in this project as well* Date has not been set. Concept: Creation of Classic Arcade / Console Gaming Night at The Gig, featuring Arcade Machines throughout the venue, ‘demonstration’ booths throughout the venue bolstering a multitude of Video Games Consoles (SNES, SEGA, NES, ATARI, GAMECUBE) with “Classic” games to be played in Multiplayer environments. Event will be held once a month. Execution: Event will be held on an open door basis, meaning we will not be charging a cover. Revenue will be generated through Alcohol and Food sales within The Gig. Demographic targeting will be 21-45, as this is our biggest revenue generating market with regards to Video Gaming. Demonstration booths, tables, arcades will be setup the day before – testing will proceed afterwards (ensuring cartridges and such are secured and unable to be taken). There will be no entertainment at the event besides Gaming.
